She is the one who let that Humphrey Bogart say to her Hello! with his cheek quite slovenly loosening the moment
she took off her glasses in the movie "The Big Sleep"(1946). Actually, her eyes are quite impressive.
In addition, she seems to be incessantly moving some part of her face. For example, she is always opening and shutting
her mouth even when she isn't speaking anything at all. This facial movements of hers give me a nymphomaniac impression.
With this impression, she got a best supporting Oscar for her performance in "Written on the Wind"(1956).
Although I didn't notice her when I watched, I heard she appeared in the move "Basic Instinct" (1992)
playing a role of a lesbian. It's quite amazing that almost half century after having Boggie say Hello!, she is
still playing a lesbian.
