NOTE

I would like to conclude this article by picking up the most suitable actress. That is, of course, none other than Katharine Hepburn who is frequently referred as the best actress of all time. Of course, as she won the best actress Academy Award as early as 1933 for "Morning Glory", she is not exactly an actress of 1960s and 1970s. Yet she further won the best actress Academy Award for "Guess Who's Comming to Dinner"(1967), "The Lion in Winter"(1968) and "On Golden Pond"(1981). This means she got four best actress Academy Awards over approximately 50 years. Moreover, probably several of her 1950s movies would deserve it. I guess the reason why she could keep her status as a top actress over more than 50 years in spite of the fact she isn't an actress endowed with absolute beauty would probably be not only because of her performance, but also because of her strong willpower. By this strong willpower, even I guess, would she be still alive. It's quite amazing the actress who got the Oscar in 1933 is still alive. Her greatness in the movie history is proven in the list below, because it only contains the movies she was at least nominated for the best actress Academy Award.
