She was born in Buenos Aires. As you know well, she became a star literally in a day when she appeared in Franco
Zeffirelli's version of "Romio and Juliet"(1968). Even I remember the days when the movie was firstly
shown in Japan (where I've been living for 40 years by now) and two new stars were introduced. However, it seems
that her career hasn't been so favorable to her after that sensational appearance, and moreover it has precipitiously
waned especially since the 1980s. She was very famous especially in Japan, because she married Japanese singer
Akira Fuse.
