When I was just a kid, she was a movie idol with an extremely cute face and blond hair. It wouldn't have been
so strange had she been, as was often the case with this type of actresses, disposed of after just two or three
appearances in the movies especially tailored to her idol image just while capable of retaining her freshness.
But she actually wasn't, for she is still emerging in several movies unlike the actresses who followed her steps.
But I think she hasn't been so fortunate as to have a decisive role representing her whole career. One reason for
that would probably be because she is essentially a comedienne. By the way, although she is sometimes said to have
never changed in physical features, her figure in the movie "Cactus Flower"(1969) for which she won the
best support actress Academy Award looks very young (See the picture above).
