NOTE

She has a round face, and gives a rather immature impression. And, something is definitely unbalanced about her, though I can't tell exactly what it is. But, I like this type of actresses very much. Incidentally, I distinctly remember she was playing a weird fortune teller in the Hitchcock's last movie "The Family Plot"(1976). Hitchcock sometimes deploys this type of rather comical round-faced actresses as counterpoints to all those his favorite blond actresses. For example, Thelma Ritter for Grace Kelly in "Rear Window"(1954), Barbara Bel Geddes for Kim Novak in "Vertigo"(1958), and Diane Baker for Tippi Hedren in "Marnie"(1964). But, after thinking carefully, I've noticed there isn't any notable blond actress in "The Family Plot".
