Sometimes, I got the E-mails telling me that some actresses are missing from my home page. Patty Duke is one
of those, and I've even got several of them. So I knew her popularity in the US. To tell the truth, I wasn't thinking
she was so popular among US audiences, the reason of which is probably because she appeared more in TV-programs
than in silver screen, and it's very difficult to get American TV programs in Japan where I happen to live. But,
anyway, it seems that her performance as a role of Helen Keller in the movie "The Miracle Worker"(1962)
is sufficient enough to notice her ability as an actress. It's very sad she appeared in so few movies and almost
all of them except aforementioned "The Miracle Worker" nowadays hardly we can say we have many occasions
to watch.
