Although I haven't seen so many of her movies, I'm always impressed with her marvelous eyes. They are so mysterious
as to make me think if she had appeared in more of such movies that require mysterious personalities, she might
have been known by the audience better than she actually was. As a proof of this, she was very effective in the
movie "Ice Palace"(1960) where she played a woman who was torn between Richard Burton and Robert Ryan,
or rather tore them with her eyes always implying something but never actually showing what it is. Also, she was
in that famous Monroe's movie "The Seven Year Itch"(1955). Though she appeared in a very brief scene
as a nurse seducing Tom Ewell in Ewell's reverie, I think she was already revealing her talent even in that brief
moment. Unfortunately, she died of cancer in 1983.
