She has rather a funny face although she slightly resembles Elizabeth Taylor and could be said beautiful and
charming in her own way. Therefore, in her earlier career, her best bet seems to have been in comedy movies such
as "The Fortune"(1975) and "The Big Bus"(1976). But, even though she has never been a top actress,
her charm hasn't waned at all even after becoming over 50, and is the one of the most frequently appearing actress
of her age after 1990s unlike such famous actresses who adorned the 1970s such as Jacqueline Bisset and Candice
Bergen. She was as atractive as Michelle Pfeiffer who is more than 10 years younger than Channing when she appeared
in the movie "Up Close and Personal"(1996).
