NOTE

Everyone knows she became famous by appearing in Chaplin's "Limelight"(1952). She has a very clean and intelligent image. This sort of images tend to render the person not so intimate a figure, and sometimes she gives me a slightly cold image. But, it doesn't necessarily mean she is a drab and monotonous actress. The transparency that she has, I consider, is precious among all those voluptuous and sleazy actresses (though I like such actresses too anyway). We can still see her in several movies such as "Mighty Aphrodite"(1995) and Stallone's "Daylight"(1996).
