In this article, I would like to talk about the actresses whose main acting period lies in the 1960s and the 1970s. Selection has been made just according to my preference. Therefore, several important actresses might be missing in this list. Besides, there are several actresses whom I would like to pick up, but I can't do so at least for now, because I don't have any source from which I can input images. I will add them to this article as soon as I've got the source from which I can input the images. In addition,I am considering I will in time make several individual actresses' pages as other Internet movie sites are doing.
By the way, the list of films included for each actress is based upon Ephraim Katz's "The Film Encyclopedia". In this regard, there might be several differences from other sources as to the production years for some of the movies listed in this article. It should be noted that, even in such cases, all descriptions have been solely derived from "The Film Encyclopedia". Finally, I should add this; the movies listed in the "main films" section for each actress contain the ones I have never watched, and the color of the title name in "main films" section means,

red : won the best actress Academy Aword
purple: won the best support actress Academy Aword
orange: nominated for the best actress Academy Aword.

On 19/JUNE/1999, I decided to add the information of none-English movies to the movie lists of some of the actresses whose mother language isn't English. The titles of all these none-English movies will be written in slanted characters in the lists even in such a case a particlar none-English movie has an English title. The abbreviated words enclosed in parentheses right next to the titles of none-English movies mean the nationality of the corresponding movies as follows,

Fr: Franch
It: Italian
Ger: German
Sp: Spanish

But, this doesn't necessarily mean all none-English movies are spoken in the langauage corresponding to the nationality shown in the list. To tell the truth, I haven't seen many of those none-English movies, and, therefore, in many cases, I can't tell exactly in what langauage a particular movie is spoken.
