OPM SELECTION

Perfect10 Rachel Alejandro was staying in Japan, and had live concerts with Side A in September 1997. She has special talent of not only singing, but acting on television, movie screens, or stage of theaters. She's got many sorts of award.

retro Regine Velasquez is as famous in Hongkong as in Phil. She sold 100,000 copies of "My Love Emotion" Asia-wide on the first month of its release in 1995. She has fascinating voice, actually fascinates me a lot. She often covers foreign songs, such as My Sweet Home of Mariya Takeuchi. Specially I want to add one information that I bought latest CD, "DRAWN", and listed up in this. The first impression I had when I had a look at the photos in this CD is "She looks like a Kogal!" from her poses. (Kogal is a representative name of a part of Japanese school girls in '90s)

Jocelyn Jocelyn Enriquez is highly recommendable singer if you prefer dance music. You can easily understand she sings dance music if you know that her CD is manufactured by Avex trax. And, some of us could be reminded by her name that she had night live stages at Hard Rock Cafe in Makati. These sample sounds are dedicated to Mr.MSK.

KUH KUH is my favorite singer. I am deeply impressed with her voice and sound. If I could give a name to her sound, it would be an Nature Oriented Music.

Jolina Jolina is a teenage girl. And young girls like Jolina as she is so lovely, sweet looking, and have nice voice. I like her also. I suppose she is an idle singer in Philippines.

Helen Francisco Helen Francisco is a philippina, however, this CD is sold by Japanese label, and only in Japan. She can sing, dance, and speak tagalog, english, and japanese. And she has a radio program on Inter-FM 76.1MHz (Tokyo) at 1:00AM on Sunday. I'd got to know her when I was watching TV program 'Oh! Tokyo' on channel 55 of SkyCable in Philippines, and had got to know that she had released this CD.

Mckee Mckee They 'McKee' did not release CD. Needless to say, they are Japanese. But this one belongs to OPM. That is because they released the album only in Philippines. So that, this is not available in Japan. The price of the tape is 100 pesos. It is about 400yen. There are many casette tapes in shops rather than CDs. The price of CD is 375 pesos normally. So, most of ordinary people would prefer to purchase casette tapes.

ici I should say thanks to the clerks who help me a lot at National Book Store and Land Mark in Makati. I would also appreciate Ms. Monica to advise me on popular artists.
Salamat, Paalam.
