IBARAKI TRANSPORT Co.Ltd. has local railway section in Hitachinaka-city. This railway was opened in 1913 by "Minato railway Co.Ltd.". Length of line is 14.3km(single track), This line has 11 stations. This railway has last service-able car of "Type KIHA11". And, another 9 diesel railcars are also old type. This railway as a "Japanese old diesel railcar museum".

"KIHA 22 3" Diesel Railcar of IBARAKI TRANSPORT Co.Ltd.

In April, "Nikko-Mae" stopping is veiled in cherry blossoms. ~Nikkou-Mae" stopping is only for the employees of Hitachi-Kouki Co.Ltd. Only 2 trains are stopped at this small station per day. The type KIHA22 diesel railcars were transferred from "Haboro coal mining railway" in 1970.

KASHIMA RAILWAY Co.Ltd. has local line from Ishioka-city to Hokota-town. This railway was opened in 1924 by "Kashima sanguu Railway". Length of line is 27.2km(single track). This line has 17 stations. This railway is also using old diesel railcar.

"KIHA 602" Diesel Railcar of KASHIMA RAILWAY Co.Ltd.

"KIHA602" in HOKOTA station. This stations is last stop of KASHIMA RAILWAY. Type "KIHA600" was modified from type "KIHA07" of JAPAN NATIONAL RAILWAY in 1972. These cars(601&602) are last cars of type KIHA07. They were transferred from JNR in 1964 and 1966. And, they were re-modified to air-conditioned car in 1994.

KANTO RAILWAY Co.Ltd. (IBARAKI JAPAN)

KANTO RAILWAY Co.Ltd. has 2 lines in IBARAKI JAPAN, Tow lines are "Joso-Line" and "Ryugasaki-Line". "Joso-Line" connects Toride-city and Shimodate-city. This line was opened by "Joso Railway" in 1913. Length of line is 51.1km(double track:17.5km, single track:33.6km). This line has 24 stations and over 60 numbers of diesel railcars. This line is biggest non-electrification private railway in JAPAN. "Ryugasaki-Line" connects "Sanuki station" of Joban-Line(East Japan Railway) and Ryugasaki-city. This line was opened by "Ryugasaki Railway" in 1900. Length of line is 4.5km(single track). This line has 3 stations and 4 diesel railcars.

"KIHA521" Diesel Railcar of KANTO RAILWAY Co.Ltd.

"KIHA521","KIHA522" and "KIHA531" in Ryugasaki-Line. "KIHA521" and "KIHA522" retired from service in this March.

HITACHI ELECTRIC RAILWAY Co.Ltd. (IBARAKI JAPAN)

HITACHI ELECTRIC RAILWAY Co.Ltd. has line from Hitachiota-city to Hitachi-city, in IBARAKI JAPAN. This railway was opened in 1928 by "Johoku electric railway Co.Ltd.". Length of line is 18.1km(single track), This line has 14 stations.

"MOHA10" of HITACHI ELECTRIC RAILWAY Co.Ltd.

"MOHA10" at good-by ceremony 4th.May.1997. "MOHA10" retired from service in this May. This car was derived by HITACHI Co. Ltd. in 1943.
