Abstract

Getter is a simple data transfer manager. Getter gets Internet resources using http and ftp protocol from URL list. It supports concurrent data transfer.

System requierd environment

Getter is a Java application and it requires Java2SE platform. Java2 runtime environment is uploaded at http://www.javasoft.com. This program was developped under Windows2000 and JDK1.3

Installing getter

Get install package from nrxt URL and copy extracted files into your local disk. To uninstall Getter, you have to delete these files.

How to use

To start getter, type java -jar Getter.jar on console. If you use Windows or WindowsNT, double click Getter.jar.

Paste URL string or type URL on 'URL' field.

Select Start command from Control menu. It will start downloading internet resources.

Getter is a freeware. You may distribute this product on a non-profit basis. I'm very happy if you give me a bug report or comments. Source code is here.
