BULBUL
BULBUL

Sucking nectar from cherry blossoms
near the mouth of the MANO-RIVER in Otsu-city, April 8, 1997.

They look very cleaver. Though they are quarrelsome,I like sunny disposition of this bird. My father has taken care of a chick for about two weeks. Bulbul is a bird originally living in woods, and leaving the nest is apt to be too early. Seeing such a chick which cannot fly yet, we would like to look after him or her, but this is the nature of this bird. We must be careful not to separate chicks from their parents.
The parents of the chick my father picked up fed the chick on the veranda, and after two weeks, he jamped and left.
