In Currumbin Sanctuary, Palm Beach, QLD, Australia (Feb. 27, 1997).

It was this Kookaburra that I was dying to see. I have been a Kookaburra fan since I saw the bird in Osaka Tenouji Zoo.
We could see Kookaburras here and there in Currumbin Sanctuary. We saw the bird catching an insect, and also heard that voice!!
Wild Kookaburras were smarter than ones in the zoo.
