We (my wife and I) called this bird "Crowned Pigeon" during our stay in Australia, but it was not right. Crowned Pigeon have a more flamboyant crown. Crested Pigeon's head ornament has something jocular, and the bird is a bit soft in not only the ornament but also the head.
