　"History about Pingu on Internet"

There were approximately one hundred website about Pingu untill now. Some of them were Pingu specialty site and other of them covered about Pingu as a part of the website. Regrettably, most of them were already closed by each site owner. There had been about ten Pingu website when we started this site, We look back then.

Pingu's UNOFFICIAL Web page (United Kingdom) The oldest Pingu website in the world is this site, and we(you) can see it still now. Probably, this is most famous Pingu website.

Pingu sound page (Canada) We could download many Pingu's sound files. The site owner was Mr. Mark Aikin, he was the first person who conntact us.

tHE pH1 Pingu (United Kingdom) We could enjoy many images, sounds, and news. what's more it could download Pingu screensaver. This was very full website too. Regrettably, it closed in the middle of 1997.

We called these, Big three Pingu website in the world.

sythe PRODUCTIONS (New Zealand) This is one of application download website. Mr. sythe, he uploaded some applications. his game "solutions", "Pingu Startup/Shutdown Screens" and "Pingu Desktop theme". Especially, Pingu Desktop theme was very fine. Probably, it was used many pingu fans still now.

The PINGU Webring (Canada) The first Pingu webring in the world. This webring was managed by Mr. Mark Aikin. "Takao + Yoshiko & Pingu Page" and our site were registered as Japanese website.

Pingu		Tetsu's Favorite....Pingu

PINGU'S HIDEOUT (Sony creative products Inc.) The first official Pingu website in the world. This website was precursor of "Che. Ki. La". It was a pitty, it had never be updated scince first edition. But there were two website like a derivation of this before "Che. Ki. La"started .

Pingu .This website was managed by university student Mr. Kosaka. He wrote this one in English. he showd some Pingu pictures he painted. and this was only one webseite that has a guest book in those days. He updated this page on his university server, and it was deleated at his graduation.

Haru's Pingu Page .This website was managed by university student Mr. Haru, Contents of this was full, There were two editions in English and Japanese, he introduced information of Pingu and Video index, and showd Pingu products on each edition.

Takao + Yoshiko and Pingu Page The style of this website was like ours, The site owner Mr. Takao Kawasaki shown his family with Pingu stuff. One of our favorite Pingu website it warm visiter.

Tetsu's Favorite....Pingu .The character of this site was Pingu video index, This site owner Mr tetsu wrote his comments of all Pingu episode, and showed fanny pictures he painted "not pretty Pingu", they were very unique.

Mina's Pingu Home Page .This website was managed by university student Miss. Mina, very charming Japanese girl. She introduced Pingu family and showd some her pictures. It looked vrey pretty website.

Most of all visiter used telephon line to connect internet, and site owners were making their website as light as possible in those days. Each site scale was smaller than today, but we think their thought about Pingu could communicate to visiters more. All of them except one started 1996, Pingu website would increase more and more lator in three years.
