Mr.Toshiyuki Yoshikawa is a man of succession of Traditional Tosa kite for three generation and follows the footsteps of his great-great-grandfather, Hanzo Yoshikawa who inherited the technique of kite building after a 200 year tradition of kite making. His great-great-grandfather was famous for an artist known as Ekin during the late of Edo period. The remarkable feature of his Tosa kite is all handmade from start to finish. He runs his dye works near Kochi city, Kochi prefecture, Japan. He will be able to receive the order of Tosa kite. He won a prize of honourable master of handmade craftmanship.
