Star Space -2013.08.02

"Star Space" is my newest designed puzzle. This puzzle is based on the pentagons.

Will a regular pentagon tile a plane? The answer is NO.
But, it is possible if allowing for some kinds of combinated rhombus space.

A “tetrapept” is a figure made of 4 regular pentagons joined edge to edge.
There are seven kinds of figures. 1)

This puzzle uses 2 sets of the 7 kinds of tetrapents and two stars.

The final goal is to fit Two Stars with 2 sets of 7 tetrapents into the tray. But, the followings are also the goals.

  1. Fit 14 tetrapents into the tray (No Stars)
  2. Fit 14 tetrapents and One Star into the tray
