Comet Hyakutake shines near Polaris, the "north star," in this
photograph taken at 23:00 p.m.-0:00 p.m. on March 25, 1996. The photograph was taken after
moonset through thin cirrus clouds. The comet remains visible in the evening
sky, although moonlight interferes with seeing it at its best.
