Amanita vaginata

There are so many poisonous species in Amanita family such as Amanita virosa, Amanita vaginata is one of few goodies. They have very moderate taste and nice for soup although they are small. You can find them very commonly on the summer field in Japan. We call them "Tsuru Take" which means "Crane mushroom". Their long and white stipe looks like crane.
