I
was born and brought up in Mt. Tanzawa, shown in front of the Mt. Fuji on the
photo of Introduction page. It takes only 1 hour from my place by car. There is
a paradise of wild fungi. I would like to introduce some of them monthly
together with surrounding nature. It will help you to feel the atmosphere of
Japanese country side. By the way, I am quite a stranger about mycology. My
approach to fungi is, therefore, not scientific but cultural or humanistic.
