As their name indicates, they are mainly found in Mt. Fuji area. The below photo was taken in western Tanzawa area where is very close to Mt. Fuji. It is interesting that Gomphus family is rare in the eastern Tanzawa while they are common inhabitant in the western Tanzawa. They are very close species to Gomphus floccosus.
