Auricularia polytricha 1

They can be very commonly found on broad-leaved tree almost through the year. Japanese name "Arage-Kikurage" means hairy forest jellyfish. The naming is acceptable because they have velvet, no taste, but have some sort of clean-cut feeling like jellyfish. Nowadays, they are commercially produced for Chinese dishes.

They are cosmopolitan from tropical area.
