Russula chloroides

Soon after Russula nigricans and/or Russula virescens and/or Russula lepida disappear, their successor, Russula chloroides, push fallen leaves aside and enter on the same stage. They are distinguishable from the other white Russula with their light blue gills and a little acrid taste.

2weeks ago, there were Russula nigricans on the very close ground.

Gills are close and a bit blue.
