Insect Stamp of Madagascar

Since Madagascar is the island country distant from the Africa continent, including the mammals, such as a monkey, there are many unique things and many insects of a specialty are also looked at by the ecosystem of an animal.
In Madagascar there are many unique insects and mammalia such as monkeys and a lot of peculiar things are seen in ecosystem of an animal.
Madagascar of a former French possession achieved independence in 1966. 1970's began, and the domestic administration was confused, and the government which aimed at socialism was born in 1975, and the name of a country was changed by the Democratic Republic of Madagascar. It switched a policy to free economy from deadlock of economy after 1980's began and changed the name of a country in the Republic of Madagascar in 1992.
Four kinds of normal stamps were issued from big island country Madagascar which appears on the southeast in Africa. The design of the insect of the Madagascar specialty is adopted. Four kinds of beetle stamps with a donation to the World Wide Fund for Nature were issued in 1988. Seven kinds of beetle stamps were issued in 1994 more.
