Pleuronectiformes has two eyes in the one side of the body. However, when it is small in newborn, there are the eyes on both sides of the body in the same way as common fish, and stop at the one side as grow up, and come to lie on the bottom. It includes a lot of important kinds on fish.
Halibut is the large-sized flatfish inhabiting from the east Atlantic FBay of Biscay to Spitsbergen, Barents Sea, Iceland, from the Greenland eastern part to west AtlanticFGreenland South-West and from Labrador of Canada to the State of Virginia, as for the length, there are 240cm in a male, and there are 300cm in a female, and the most longer life is what 50years.
