The most important form-feature of a Neuroptera is the structure of the mouth of a larva. Although the larva has a long large jaw , the small jaw which became thin gets into the slot of the length in the inner side, and it is crowded, and becomes a pipe, and the absorption jaw is formed. A larva pierces the tip part which added game by this large jaw and sharpened, and absorbs humors. This is intelligible if the place which eating of ant lion which is the larva of lacewing is observed.
A compound eye shines with rainbow color, and although the body and wing veneration are green and are a beautiful insect with transparent feather, if grass lacewing is caught, it will release a bad smell. The larva lives on a plant, preys common aphid, and is wearing its abdomen back by dead husks of common aphids which inhaled liquid.
Ribbon lacewing is distributed over Australia from southern Europe. The imago and larva of ribbon lacewing which live in the dryness ground are also a variant. As for the imago, Back feather of the imago is extended long very thinly, and a head of the imago is like a snout and long. Although a larva lives on the ground and ant lion is resembled a little, brisket is very thin and it is long, and there is almost no hair in the body and a leg is long.
