Insect Stamp of Iceland

It is an opening of Iceland that a Norwegian settled in the uninhabited volcanic island which raised Hokkaido a little in the ninth century. It formed republican form of government in 930 and established the Diet where the world was oldest. Norway, a follower of Denmark receive it afterwards and get autonomy in 1904. It became an independent kingdom under Denmark sovereignty in 1918 and became independent as a republic in 1944.
Two kinds of stamps on which a Insect was drawn were issued in 2004 ,2005 ,2006 and 2007 from this Iceland.
