Animal Stamp of Bulgaria

Bulgaria is formed as a Bulgarian kingdom in 681. After 1018, it took the occupation of the Eastern Empire and became independent in 1186, but it was ruled from 1396 by Ottoman Turkey. It is 1908 that it became independent as the king again. It caused a situation to lose a territory about the defeated nation side in the first, World War II. It abolish monarchy in 1946 and shift to a people's republic, and the autocracy system of Zhivkov follows more than 30 years from 1954. A democratization demand rose in 1989, and Zhivkov Administration collapsed, and the abandonment of one Communist Party party autocracy was decided in 1990, and it was changed the name of a country by the Republic of Bulgaria, and the non-Communist Party government was born by the free election carried out in 1991.
Five kinds of bird stamp on which it drew a dove entirely from this Bulgaria in 1984 were issued.
