25 kinds of stamps describing insect, spider and scorpion were issued from small country Bhutan located in the southeast part of the Himalayas in 1997. In fact, from Bhutan, eight kinds of butterfly stamps were issued as first solid stamp in the world in 1968, and eight kinds of solid stamps of an insect are issued in following 1969. Although this solid stamp processes the surface jaggedly and takes out the lens effect, it is the stamp which cannot be received as me. Moreover, the insect to which it will be other than from its own country, such as South America, conspicuous in the stamp of issue in 1997 is taken up in the stamp design, and I think one of the stamp issue countries which are not desirable.

The Heracles beetle is a beetle with the longest length in the world of living in the tropical rain forests of mountain of northern South America from Central America. However, individual variation of the length is large and there is a small thing only like a Japanese beetle. The individual exceeding the length of 120mm has a splendid angle. A male is violently fought using the angle. A partner is inserted on two squares and the tactics which raise in the air and it fails to give up are taken.
