Pond Skater is water top gliding the pond and river top. The whole body was covered with fine hair like velvet which does not get wet in water, the water surface was widely pressed down on long and slender foot, and it has floated by the surface tension of water. Consequently, it makes the 20 times floating force as many as its weight. It is said that the name of Pond Skater attached it since
Pond Skater gave off a sweet smell like a candy when it caught. The insect which moves a long leg like paddle of a boat, and mainly falls to the water surface is caught, and Pond Skater puts a mouth like a needle, is crowded, it inhales humors and is living. The wave of the water which comes out when an insect struggles is noticed, and a position is traced.
