British Alderney is a small island of which area is egnht square km, floats in English Channel across U.K. and France. A person of 2000 several hundred lives, and it was known for a milk cow of Alderney class, but sightseeing is the center now. When R.M.S. was made a public corporation in 1969, it issued an original stamp afterward. The stamp of British Alderney introduced geography and the history including scenery and the animals and plants of the island is central.
Ten kinds of stamps describing the insect and the plant were issued in 1994 and 1997 by this British Alderney (Bailiwick of Guernsey).
