"Take a deep breath. Breathe in deeply and breathe out slowly."

One becomes angry unintentionally.

One can be out of temper even when trying to prevent it.

Why can't we control our own temper?

Yes, we do get angry without meaning to do so.

Do you realise something in your mind when you are angry?

Do you find you expect everything should be under your control?

If you cannot control even your own temper,

how can you possibly expect that anything else should be under your control?

In a sermon one elderly woman, who always chanted a prayer, told the priest 'Thanks to the sermons which I always appreciate and the prayers I chant, I keep myself calm and peaceful. I have not become angry for many years'. The priest said 'Old woman, don't tell me such a lie'.

The moment she heard this, she became furious and shouted 'I am not telling you a lie'.

If you cannot control even your own temper,

how can you possibly expect that anything else should be under your control?
