N.W.A. United National Heavyweight Title
In July of 1969, JWA started weekly program on the NET (today's TV Asahi), centering on Inoki's matches. With an idea of giving Inoki an equivalent to Baba's International Heavyweight Title, Inoki challenged John Tolos on 03/26/71 at Los Angeles Olympic Auditorium for the NWA United National Heavyweight Title and won the title.

After defending the title against the big names such as Fred Blassie, Jack Brisco, Fritz Von Erich, and Dick Murdoch, Inoki was expelled from JWA, and the title was also stripped.

The title was later held by Seiji Sakaguchi, Akihisa Takachiho (The Great Kabuki), Jumbot Tsuruta, and Gen'ichiro Tenryu, and was unified with PWF Heavyweight and NWA International Heavyweight titles in 1989 to become Triple Crown Heavyweight Title, which is now the main title of All Japan Pro-Wrestling.
