It's octahedron. Rotate kept octahedron, likes Skewb Cube.
Rotate as peculiar as ever.

I found the solution, then I arrange the puzzle.

Pyraminx's vertices can ignore, then the vertices removed from there.

It's so simple. :-)
The vacant corner is closed by side color panels.
Of course, this solution is same of Pyraminx. The difference is only one, you don't need to arrange the vertices. ;-)

Arrange the same color to the vertices.
The solution is same of 2x2x2 pocket cube. Then the difficult level is same, too.

There are no corner points, then the cube isn't easy to rotate.

This puzzle is so rare, then I got it at e-Bay auction.

It looks so difficult, but the center line can't be rotate, and the center top is decoration only rotate horizontally. Then this puzzle's substance is similar about 3x3x3 cube.
3x3x3's corner was vanished, and the center has direction.

Then I set this difficult level similarly to 3x3x3 cube.

I give up to get it, but I met a chance in a million, then I could get it.

This puzzle was made by shave from the Pyraminx.
The Pyraminx's corners are meaningless. Then Tetraminx was made to remove the corners. Octaminx was made to more shave from Tetraminx.
Of course, the solution is similarly of Pyraminx and Tetraminx.

Then I set the level to similar.

This is invented and made by Mr.Okamoto at 3D puzzle reconstruction studio. Of course, this puzzle was made by him.

His puzzle is good as ever.

He wrote this puzzle was extended from Dino cube, but all face's divition becomes higher.
Then this puzzle is more difficult than Dino cube.
And perhaps this puzzle is his first octagonal puzzle.
