The translation "titmouse" is really only a approximation of what this word means. A Qa'Hom is a small animal considered rather insignificant. The word literally means "little Qa'". A Qa' is a larger, more dengerous animal. A Qa'Hom is not a young Qa'. But it does bear big resemblance to its name's sake.
訳語の「四十雀」というのは、この語の意味する物の近似物でしかない。Qa'Hom というのは、あまり取るに足りない小さな動物である。この語を直訳すると「小さな Qa'」になる。Qa' というのは、もっと大きく危険な動物である。Qa'Hom は幼い Qa' というわけではない。しかし、その名前からして非常によく似た姿をしている。

Be sure to pronounce the final consonant in this word correctly. It's Q, not H. You won't be successfull insulting anybody by calling him/her veH, that just means "boundary", ***[?] no negative connotations at all.
この語の最後の子音を正しく発音するように気を付けよ。H ではなく Q である。誰かを罵倒しようとして veH と言っても成功はしないであろう。veH は「境界」という意味で否定的な意味は全くない。

This phrase literally means "Ferengi animal", the transrating is as Ferengi dog, *** [?] insult. The word for "animal" is Ha'DIbaH which is also the word for "meat". Klingon doesn't distinguish between animals walking around and animals prepared as food.
この文句は直訳すると「フェレンギのけだものめ」である［途中不明］。「獣、動物」に当たる語は Ha'DIbaH で、「獣肉」も意味する。クリンゴン人は、生きて動いている動物と食べ物として出される動物とを区別しない。

This is one of the number of Klingon curses that doesn't have an adequate translation.
これは数あるクリンゴン語の悪態のうちの１つであるが、適当な訳語はない。

This word consists of nuch which by itself means either "a coward" or "cowards" and the plural suffix -pu' makes it clear that they are number of cowards. -pu' is the suffix used only with nouns that refer to beings of capable speech.
この語はnuchから成っており、それだけで「臆病者」も「臆病者ども」も両方意味するが、複数を表わす接尾辞-pu'が複数の臆病者どもであることを明確にする。-pu'は会話能力のある存在を示す名詞にのみ使用される。
