Born in Osaka, Japan.
B.A. Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts in 1978.
He started his self-portrait work by "Portrait, Gogh" in 1985.
Since then he has been making photographic works
in which he plays as persons in well-known paintings or as movie actresses.
He is one of the most internationally recognized artists in Japan.
In MCT 1996 he does multi-activities:
collaboration work with Fukae Yoshio (movie billboard painter),
making of a shop for his original art goods, for example.
