8 At The Danish Writers Union there is Haiku-Group chaired by Benny Pedersen. Many Danish poets try to write Danish haiku. Pia Tafdrup’s Boomerang (2007) for example.

9 The title of my second book of poems is Epigrams. I never dared write tanka or haiku, because I do not have the shichi-go-cho background like Japanese poets. However, the nature of my epigramatic style is in some way related to the haiku technique.
