DX LOGGINGS------------------------------------------------------------
3224.8 RRI Tanjung Pinang. Local news at 1135 and the ending music
was "Garuda Pancasila" with chorus. After the news, ID and
Indonesian music. Poor. (Sep 18, 1999, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
4874.52 RRI Sorong. At fair level 1058 with local IS (Hawaiian
          guitar/Island flavour) repeated to TS 4 + 1 long pip at 1100.
Short theme and into light Lagu Popular with male announcer
taking occasional phone requests to fade after 1130.
(Sep 19, 1999, Tony Ward, CANADA)
4927.0 RRI Jambi.Local pops at 1620. ID by male at 1628 as "Inilah
Radio Republik Indonesia Jambi" then IS and local news
entitled "Warta Berita Daerah". Also 3355.4kHz could be picked up
with faint audio at the same time.
(Sep 17, 1999, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
6069.8 RRI Jayapura. Indonesian pops & English pops. Fair to poor.
(Sep 10, 1999, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
6153.42 RRI Biak. Fair with light vocal from TI 1057 18 Sept. Rolled
music out to dead air at 1059, then local IS and man
announcement from 1101. Short hymn on organ and what appeared
to be Christian late-night benediction-style program in
Indonesian till 1111, when into light folk-style songs
featuring local artist. Included "Blowing in the Wind" at 1122.
No sign of Jakarta news. Benediction also heard Sept 17 at
same time much weaker. Less splatter from 6150kHz on K9AY NW
           loop. (Sep 17 & 18, 1999, Tony Ward, CANADA)
9525.0 RRI Jakarta, Cimanggis. Interfered with V.O.Indonesia Japanese
program till 1200 and Indonesian program from 1200 was inactive
today. The transmitter is apparently diffrent with the overseas
service on the same frequency. ID of Programa Nasional Satu was
often heard. Signed off at 1300. Fair.
(Sep 15, 1999, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
15149.9 V.O.Indonesia, Cimanggis. German program at 1818. Indonesian
pops including "Cintailah Aku", Javanese traditional music, and
news. Closing announcement with Love Ambon at 1859. When I
visited V.O.Indonesia studio at the end of August, staff said
reception reports from Europian country were few and condition
in Europe was not so good.
