DX LOGGINGS------------------------------------------------------------
3204 RRI Bandung. Inactive again for at least a couple of months.
         (Apr 11, 1999, David Foster-OZ via No.1522)
3215 RRI Manado. Not heard in the end of April.
(Apr 27, 1999, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
3224.8v RRI Tanjung Pinang 1335-1415+ (presumed), what seemed to be a
special live broadcast of a religious/cultural nature, including
talk by different announcers. Stayed with it past 1400, with
the Call to Prayer until 1405. Lost to the noise and approaching
local sunrise after 1415+. Not // any of the other RRI stations,
nor was it on their other listed frequency of 4920kHz. Good
signal, drifting from 3224.8kHz to 3224.9kHz. Not heard the next
day at this time. (Apr 21, 1999, Steve Martin, U.S.A.)
3325.0 RRI Palangkaraya. Local news at 1103. ID by female at 1104 as
"Warta Berita ini disiarkan oleh Radio Republik Indonesia
Palangkaraya". The ending music title of the local news was
         "Garuda Pancasila". Fair.
(Apr 14, 1999, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
3905 RRI Merauke 1400-1427*, music variety program with talk by a
happy, laughing male annnouncer. Brief announcements with site ID
at 1426, off suddenly at 1427*. Surprisingly clear of local ham
traffic this morning, with a solid s9+ signal.
(Apr 13, 1999, Steve Martin via Cumbre DX No.238)
3976.1 RRI Pontianak. Not heard since April 22.
(Apr 28, 1999, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
3987 RRI Manokwari. Inactive after a burst of life in January.
         (Apr 11, 1999, David Foster-OZ via Numero Uno No.1522)
4000.2 RRI Kendari. Jakarta news relay at 1214. Local ID at 1227 then
news program entitled "Berita Luka". At 1229 local news but news
         title was not confirmed. Fair.
(Apr 13, 1999, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
4750.00 RRI Ujung Pandang(presumed). 1524-1558* in Indonesian with
wailing type of music and short announcement, followed by choir
singing, 1530 talk by a man and woman then more music: sounds
like a TV/FM radio programme. 1556 announcement for R Jakarta
(RRI Jakarta? -ed) programme "Satu", no clear ID heard, so I
presumed this to be Ujung Pandang due to the Indonesian
language, suffers from het QRM and deep fades at times. 1557
South Seas Island music & IS. It seems they no longer use the
coconut song IS, but this South Seas Island music. End
         transmission at 1558*. SINPO: 23232.
(Apr 10, 1999, John Kecskes via DX Window No.160)
4777.1 RRI Jakarta, Kebayoran. Reactivated. Local pops at 1256. ID of
Programa Satu at 1258 then SCI. "Warta Berita Ekonomi Keuangan
dan Industri" at 1200. ID and frequency announcement at 1316
then local pops. Heard at local all night.
(Apr 23, 1999, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
4871 RRI Wamena. 1303, back on the air after ages with Jakarta relay,
return to own prgm 1310. Low modulation. Perhaps visited by the
same roving technician who might have called in and reactivated
xmtrs at Bandung, Manokwari, Nabire, Palembang, Semarang and
Sibolga, all of which have gone inactive again.
         (Apr 20, 1999, David Foster-OZ via Numero Uno No.1524)
4871.1 RRI Wamena(presumed). Heard at 1053 with very faint audio in
spite of fair signal. Signed off at 1559. Not heard everyday.
Thanks Foster for your information in Numero Uno.
(Apr 28, 1999, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
4931.6 RRI Surakarta. Transmitter has probably finally met its maker
(who would have sold it for scrap).
         (Apr 11, 1999, David Foster-OZ via Numero Uno No.1522)
5030.3 RRI Sibolga. Nothing heard at all since short-lived reactivation
         in May/June 1998.
         (Apr 11, 1999, David Foster-OZ via Numero Uno No.1522)
6071.0 RRI Jayapura. Jakarta news relay at 1509. Closing announcement by
male with Love Ambon and ended at 1517. Poor.
(Apr 28, 1999, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
6127 RRI Nabire. Not noted since a very brief reactivation in October
         last year.
         (Apr 11, 1999, David Foster-OZ via Numero Uno No.1522)
7098.2 RRI Yogyakarta. All night wayang kulit at 1830. Poor. Also local
evening program can be heard on this frequency now.
(Apr 17, 1999, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
 7098.2 RRI Yogyakarta. *0954 Apr 21, s/on in mid-prgm. Also the day
before at 1312 with very nice signals. This new sked would finally
seem to take the place of long defunct 5046 & 5059.
         (Apr 21, 1999, David Foster-OZ via Numero Uno No.1524)
7230.9 RRI Fak-Fak. 0759* but three days later s/off was delayed until
         0813*.
         (Apr 21, 1999, David Foster-OZ via Numero Uno No.1524)
 9525 V.O.Indonesia, Cimanggis. 0814, EG, //11785kHz. Usually on
         11785kHz at 0800-0900, then swaps to 9525kHz.
         (Apr 24, 1999, David Foster-OZ via Numero Uno No.1524)
9614.3 RRI Samarinda. 0659* Very weak.
         (Apr 8, 1999, David Foster-OZ via Numero Uno No.1522)
15125.0 RRI Jakarta, Cimanggis. Japanese lesson by 2 female Japanese and
1 male Indonesian. Althogh educational program should be used
Programa Nasional Dua, this program is heard in Programa Nasional
         Satu on every Thursday. Good.
(Apr 15, 1999, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
