DX LOGGINGS------------------------------------------------------------
4606.4 RRI Serui. Relayed from RRI Jakarta program until 0844, then changed
to local program of reading Holy Koran. At 0900 English pops was
heard. Usually the station uses on 7173.2kHz at this time. Fair

9525.0 V.O.Indonesia, Cimanggis. Usually Japanese program starts from 1130,
but today did not. Thai program ended at 1130 then short local pops
was heard for 2 minutes, and became silent. At 1134, Thai program
started again instead of Japanese program. Apparently operation

9705.0 RRI Pontianak(presumed). Very weak and heavy interference. At 0700
Jakarta news relay and like information at 0710, but missed the

in Indonesia in cooperation with Harvest International Indonesia on
Oct 27. The program will be able to hear in the local morning every

while, then non-stop music (the average non-descript Indonesian soft
ballad type). Jingle music then woman saying "RRI Kupang ..... warta
berita." SCI and Jakarta news. Also heard 10/8 around 1242 UTC

1152 Radio Suara Wangi Timur, Banyuwangi, Oct 07, 1243-1254, Lang:
Indonesian, Lots of ads, one with a little child proclaiming "Mama,
action action.." Nice relaxing local pop music, then ad which was sung
as a dangdut song. Other ads, one apparently for medicine. Then finally
canned ID by man as "Radio Suara Wangi Timur," then woman with "Radio
Suara Wangi" then canned ID again. Then my favorite: the Indonesian

1215 RRI Samarinda, Oct 07, 1258-1319, Lang: Indonesian, ID just before the
Jakarta news at 1300. 1318 NA, woman proclaiming that what we just
heard was the Jakarta news, then man saying it again, but also IDing
as "Radio Republik Indonesia stasiun Samarinda." Local pop music then.

1220 One man proclaiming we just heard the Jakarta news, then other
man with "selamat malam" and ID of which I could only decipher "..
programa Radio ....Tingkat Dua Ende" also mentioning frequencies

3204.2A RRI Bandung, Oct 07, 1322-1401, Lang: Indonesian, Man and woman
talking. //540 kHz but both channels very weak. Has some Indonesian
country music at 1355, man announcing regional news at 1358 then
own IS. Pips at 1400 then "Radio Republik Indonesia Bandung .....

some KTV thing on RRI Surabaya. Other announcement mentioning
"Programa Satu." 1056 march music over which ID. 1057 music on a
tingklik which sounds like a marimba and also singing later on.

6030A RRI Banjarmasin, Oct 08, 0748-0822, Lang: Indonesian, This one had a
moderatly strong signal, but a low heterodyne which was impossible to
filter out. Played mostly Indonesian MOR. Has some announcements which
sounded like ads. No news at 0800. Lady mentioned station name at 0808,
but better announcement at 0822 mentioning "RRI .... Banjarmasin." fair

7098.0 RRI Yogyakarta, Oct 10, 0033-0039, Lang: Indonesian, Very distorded
audio probably at the transmitter as there was no interference from
other stations. Lady reading the news mentioning Yogyakarta once. End
of news ID sounded like "RRI Yogyakarto" then some Gamelan music to
round it off. Other lady announcer to introduce "lagu." 25433

9614.3 RRI Samarinda, Oct 08, 0529-0546, Lang: Indonesian, Had own IS, pips
then news opening with "Radio Republik Indonesia stasiun Samadinda
dengan warta berita." (RRI Samarinda with the news.) 0546 end of

9704.9 RRI Pontianak, Oct 08, 0553-0618, Lang: Indonesian, Nice local pop
music. Lady DJ telling something funny as she was laughing by herself.
0558 Man with ID "Stasiun RRI regional satu Pontianak...... " then in
the middle of the SCI transmitter failure. Came back after a minute
in the middle of the Jakarta news. 0617 NA, local ID and frequencies
then more music. Not heard after 0700. 45444 (Boogert)
