3385.0 RRI Kupang. Local pops at 1445. SCI at 1458 then Jakarta news
relay. Closing announcement with Love Ambon at 1512 and signed

4003.2 RRI Padang. IS at 1528. ID then local news at 1530. Local
music at 1537. Yesterday also heard on 4003kHz instead of

3976.1 RRI Pontianak. All night traditional drama (Not wayang kulit)
at 1815. Not relayed Jakarta news on the hour. Still heard at
2100. Although today is not Saturday, the station had all
night program. Other station was not found all night program.

4874.82 RRI Sorong. Reactived from some absence. 1049-1102 33232-
33222 music and talk by woman. Music at 1059 was not Rayuan
Pulau Kelapa, and at 1100 announced "Radio Republik Indonesia
Sorong Warta Berita" then news by woman. (Is it a local news?)
At this time it was not bcing on 9742. And I checked again at
1230 on 4784.8, then did not broadcast.

4874.9 RRI Sorong. Local pops at 1155. ID by female at 1158 then SCI.
Jakarta news relay at 1200 and signed of at 1215 without Love
Ambon tune. The frequency is slightly upper than usual. Thanks

6153.58 RRI Biak. Reactived from some absence. 1207-1310 poor to fair
signal. Jakarta news relay till 1214 and 1300-1308. Otherwise
was music program. At 1228 IS was heard. when I cheked on Sep

7173.2 RRI Serui. Reading of Holy Koran at 0855. Islamic music at
0905. Dangdut music at 0919. IS from RRI Jayapura at 0929 and
followed to Nusantara Lima news entitled "Warta Berita" relayed
from RRI Jayapura. Suddenly signed off at 0936 and switched to

9630.0 RRI Jakarta, Bonto Sunggu. At 2104 "Warta Berita". ID at 2106
as "Inilah Radio Republik Indonesia Jakarta, Programa Nasional
Satu" then wayang kulit. //4777.1kHz. 9565kHz was not found at
this time. Maybe 9565kHz is not used in the local morning

11860.0 RRI Jakarta, Cimanggis. Signed on suddenly at 2149 then lolcal
music program. At 2158 ID of Programa Nasional Satu by male
then SCI. "Warta Berita" at 2200. Thanks information for Craig
Tyson. According to him, 11860kHz operates untill 0100, but
R. Japan signed on before 0100 and covered RRI, so I can not
confirm the exact sign off time. As 11860kHz and 15125kHz signs
on at the same time on 15125kHz, the transmitter site on
11860kHz is apparently Cimanggis.

DX NEWS----------------------------------------------------------------
Currently RRI Jakarta is moving between 11760 and 11860 for the 2200-1600
transmission. I think we may see Jakarta making a permanent move from
11760 to avoid VOA from 2200-0100. I see a possible skedule as 11860
2200-0100 & 11760 0100-1600. Also more use is being made of 15150 for
Programa Nasional; noted yesterday at 0930 // 15125.

RRI Sorong on 4874.9kHz reactivated in the beginning of September. The
sign off time is around 1215 without Love Ambon.

RRI Biak on 6153.6kHz reactivated in the beginning of September. The
sign off time is 1530 with Lova Ambon. (Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
RRI Jayapura does not use FM 90.0MHz, 93.6MHz, and 97.6MHz which is
listed in WRTH'98. According to my monitor at Jayapura in August, the
station used 96.3MHz, 91.0MHz, 89.2MHz and 88.3MHz.

The ending music of the Nusantara news of RRI Jayapura at 0930 was
changed from "Satu Nusa Satu Bangsa" to "Garuda Pancasila". The first

RRI Bengkulu on 3264.9kHz is now sign off at 1515 with Love Ambon tune.

is now "Bagimu Neg'ri" by CHORUS (ex-instrumental "Bagimu Neg'ri").
