DX LOGGINGS----------------------------------------------------------------
2689.60 Unidentified. At 1142, weak, just readable, but caught several
lagu popular songs. Male ancr at 1146 with talks, but not much
else after signal was lost to the noise by 1150.
(Jun 27, Ed Kusalik-U.S.A. via Numero Uno No.1482)
3175v RPDT2 Halmahera Tengah(presumed). I noticed a short blurb in the
latest DSWCI tropical bands list that Halmahera relays RRI
Ternate news at 1100. Finally got out early enough, and found
this one // to Ternate on 3344.8. 1105 presumed news, 1110
patriotic chorus. I still cannot catch a local id although this
one has been pretty good on some days.
(Jun 19, Hans Johnson-U.S.A. via Cumbre DX No.196)
3325.0 RRI Palangkaraya. Mention of Palangkaraya at 1407. "Siaran Radio
Pendidikan" at 1417. Fair. (Jun 29, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
3344.9 RRI Ternate. Local news entitled "Sari Berita" at 1403. ID by
male at 1407 as "Inilah Radio Republik Indonesia Ternate". Same
ID was heard at 1408 & 1409. Telephone conversations were
started at 1411. Fair. (Jun 24, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
3375.9v RRI Medan(presumed). Local pops at 1343. Signed off at 1359.
Poor. 4766kHz was not heard. I presumed this is RRI Medan
because 4766kHz was also signed off around 1400 recently.(See
DX NEWS) (Jun 29, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
3385 RRI Kupang. Noted from Sarawak during the day and evening,
such as from 2200-0100 and 0900-1000+. This is obviously
causing confusion with the inactive Miri (Sarawak) outlet,
also listed for 3385!
(Jun 18, Bob Padula-Malaysia via EDXP No.92)
3395.1 RRI Bandar Lampung. Thanks Werdin BC-DX tip. 1129 easy vocals
by chorus then woman giving an ID a half minute later. 1130
sounded like an interval signal that kinda of starts into a
song (I think I have heard this on other stations). 1131
presumed news, as mentions of berita by woman and speaking
in a news style. 1141 Chorus again, starting to fade but
another ID by woman at 1142. Werdin explains that Bandar
Lampung is a twin city to Tanjungkarang, but is now the
dominant city, hence its use in the IDs.
(Jun 16, Hans Johnson-U.S.A.via Cumbre DX No.195)
3395.1 RRI Bandar Lampung. Jakarta news relay at 1500. ID by male
at 1519 as "... bersama kami Radio Republik Indonesia Bandar
Lampung", then carrier was stopped for 1 minute. Local pops
and mala tlk at 1520. Fair to poor. I confirmed station name
was changed. Many thanks Werdin & Johnson!
(Jul 1, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
3987.16 RRI Manokwari(presumed). 1120 just a bit of Indo pops here
and then left the air. Usually an open carrier here.
Absolutely nothing on 4021 where they were a few weeks ago.
(Jun 24, Hans Johnson-U.S.A. via Cumbre DX No.196)
4766.0 RRI Medan. Reading of Holy Koran at 1132. Islamic music at
1145. SCI at 1158. Jakarta news relay at 1200. ID by male at
1215 as "Radio Republik Indonesia Nusantara Satu Medan" then
lagu populer. Fair. (Jun 23, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
4845.2 RRI Ambon. Local news at 1107. Talk by male at 1113. Local
pops at 1121. Suddenly signed off at 1129. Fair.
(Jun 23, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
4910.4 RRI Bukittinggi(presumed). Reactivated? I don't recall any
logs of this one in quite some time. 1131 weak, with vocals
that sounded almost Indian. Never really got good but hung
in there till 1200 SCI. Took weak for a site ID.
(Jun 24, Hans Johnson-U.S.A. via Cumbre DX No.196)

as "Saudara bersama kami Radio Republik Indonesia Pekanbaru"
then silence continued untill 1530, Male talk was started at
1530. Fair. (Jun 24, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
6030 RRI Banjarmasin. One of several RRI's audible during the
