I took part in Irozaki DX Pedition at Shizuoka Prefecture from April 11
to 12. The location was very good. Many stations which is difficult to pick
up at home could be heard. Compared with Kujukuri DX Pedition from March 7
to 9, the condition and location was better. I thank to all participants
for Irozaki DX Pedition! (Juichi Yamada)

909.0 RRI Sorong. Jakarta news relay at 1501. Local pops at 1512. ID by
female at 1515 as "Inilah Radio Republik Indonesia Stasiun Sorong"
then talk by male. Fair. Also RRI Jakarta on 999kHz was heard on

2899.0 RPDT2 Ngada(presumed). Jakarta news relay until 1215, then female
talk. At 1219 local pops. Poor. (Apr 11, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
3264.6 RRI Gorontalo. Signed on at 2054 then IS. Opening music at 2057
which is same as opening music of RRI Jakarta Programa Nasional
Dua, opening anmt including ID by female. SCI at 2058. Jakarta

3355.3 RRI Jambi. 1420-1445(faded out), surprised to find this here,
with rustic folk-type local music. Clear site ID at 1428, into
another program of typical Indonesian pop music. Been hearing
this regularily all week. I presume this is an alternate
frequency to 4925 or 4927, which have both been inactive this

3355.3 Unidentified. SCI was heard at 1459. Very poor.

3374.8v Unidentified. Jakarta news relay at 1304. Presumed ID was heard
at 1309, then talk by female. Still heard at 1401 but already
gone out at 1406. Poor. RRI Medan? 4766kHz was not heard.

3395.1 RRI Tanjungkarang(presumed). All night wayang kulit program at
2040. Jakarta news relay was not heard at 2100. The station was

3904.8 RRI Banda Aceh(presumed). Indonesian pop music and male talk at
1413. Signed off at 1457. RRI Merauke on 3905.0kHz was finished

3960.2 RRI Palu(presumed). Talk at 1245. Local pops at 1252. SCI at 1258.

3976.0 RRI Pontianak. Although other station relayed Jakarta news, the
station broadcasted Rayuan Pulau Kelapa melody from own studio
at 1302(until 1307). Anmt of not relaying Jakarta news and ID
at 1308 as "Inilah Radio Republik Indonesia Pontianak, Programa
Regional", then silence. At 1311 local news in local language.

4075.9 RRI Pontianak(sprious of 3976kHz). Local pops program at 1426.
Apparently //3976.0kHz. Poor. At last I confirmed the station
was not RPDT2 Blitar. (See Jembatan DX No.44)

4753.3 RRI Ujung Pandang. "Siaran Pendidikan" at 1345. English pops at
1251. IS and time pips at 1400 then local news as "Warta Berita
Antar Kabupaten dan Kotamadya Sulawesi Selatan". Fair.

4766 RRI Medan. 1420-1444(Signed off), reactivated after a long
absence, with an excellent signal. Smooth Island-type music
called kroncong, with announcements at 1429. Local interval
signal, with news to follow. News ended with a local anthem,
followed by an ID "Radio Republik Indonesia Stasiun Medan."
Broadcast ended at 1444* after the Koran. Always a pleasure to
see another Indonesian station has reactivated! (I presume
this was one day only reactivation. Although I check on 4766kHz,
the station can not be found.-ed)

4789.1 RRI Fak Fak(presumed). Live talk program by male at 1204. and not
relayed Jakarta news. Fair. Not heard on 7231.1kHz at this time.

4874.6 RRI Sorong. Local news was heard at 1105. Usually Jakarta news
entotled "Aneka Berita" was heard at this time. I do not know
wheather this is the change of schedule or irregular schedule.
ID was heard at 1112 as "Radio Republik Indonesia Sorong,
Programa Satu" then local pops. Fair.

4925.0 RRI Jambi. Local news entitled "Warta Berita Daerah" at 1132.
Ending news musicwas "Bagimu Negri" but this was new style of
chorus. AZt 1140 Islamic music. Local pops at 1149. SCI at 1159.
Jakarta news relay at 1200. Islamic music at 1216. ID by female
at 122 as "Programa Satu, Radio Republik Indonesia Jambi", then

9552.3 RRI Ujung Pandang. Dangdut music and femal talk at 0741. SCI at
0759. Jakarta news relay at 0800. "Siaran Terpadu" by RRI Jakarta

9565.0 RRI Jakarta, Bonto Sunggu. Signed on at 2154 and suddenly dangdut
music was heard. //9630.0, 11760.0, and 15150.0 at this time. SCI
at 2158. "Berita Sekilas" at 2200. Good.
