RRI Jambi has used on 4925kHz at 1300-1700(ex 4927kHz) since the beginning
of December. (Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
According to the letter from RRI Natuna, the station is now operating on
90MHz only, and building antenna tower of 75 meters high. After it is
compeleted, SW & MW transmitters will be put to the station. So we may
be able to hear programs from the station in the near future. In
"Jembatan DX No.29", the transmitter of FM was reported as 1kW, but
really the power is 0.1kW and the model is "NEC 11KR.IS." made in 1996.

Next "Ramadan" in Indonesia will start on December 31, 1997 and end on
January 29, 1998. Many Indonesian stations will broadcast the special
program in the local early morning in this season. And on December 31,
many stations usually delay sign off time due to the special program of
New Year's Eve. We should be looking forward to occurring something on
