3324.9 RRI Palangkaraya. 1102 Local news. 1110 "Berita Keluarga". ID was
heard at 1110 as "Radio Republik Indonesia Palangkaraya". Fair.

4074.6 Studio Radio Daerah Tingkat 2 Kabupaten Blitar(tentative).Weak,but
did hear Song of the Coconut Islands at 1500. Faded by 1515. Heard
the next day on 4075.8.Seems this station should be at least 5 kW,
as most other 10 kW Indonesians have only been fair to good.
(Roland Schulze was also picked up unidentified station on 4075.3
kHz at 1330 on Aug.27.-ed)

7225 Voice of Indonesia. 2000-2100 noted on this new frequency in
English //9525. New channel for 1730-2100 service!

9565.0 RRI Jakarta, Bonto Sunggu. Relay of sports festival at Senayan
Stadium,Jakarta at 1000.News was not heard at 1000 and 1100 due to
this special program. SCI was heard from 1128 to 1129. RRI
Gorontalo(3264.6kHz),RRI Ujung Pandang(4753.3kHz),and RRI Pekanbaru
5040.0kHz) were relayed this program, but RRI Manado(3214.8kHz),
RRI Merauke(3905.0kHz),and RRI Jambi(4925.0kHz) were not relayed
this.Programa Nasional Dua on 15150.0kHz was also not relayed this
and not heard the national news at 1000 and 1100 today.

9565.0 RRI Jakarta,Bonto Sunggu. Relay of sports event at Senayan Stadium,
Jakarta at 1134. This program was relayed by RRI Manado(3214.8kHz)
but other RRI station was not relayed. RRI Jakarta Programa
Nasional Dua on 15150.0kHz was not relayed this.

RRI makes some changes, seems effective today the 13th Oct. or lets say I
detected it today! 11750//9680 joins Prgr Satu on 15150 around 1100 to
s.off at 1300 UTC. 15150 heard strong at 0900 on its own, no //s noted.
New is Prgr Dua on 11755 from t/in 0900 blasting thru // 9630 going past
1500.This appears either a tuning error for 11785. Note that 11755 and
11750 both operating at the same time 1100-1300 causing some spill over
to each other.

The local evening program of RRI Serui on 4606.3kHz was reactivated after
short absence. First noted on Oct 13. (Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
Indonesian Radio Stations under investigation for fraud:
Several private and local government-run radio stations in Indonesia are
under investigation for fraud. Some stations controlled by local
governments aired commercials illegally, while the private stations
operated without permit from the ministry. Private stations which failed
to get a licence from the Information Ministry would not be allowed or
operate.The local government-run stations were set up to transmit programs
broadcast by the state-owned Radio Republik Indonesia and to disseminate
local government policies to the public,. The respective local governments
provided funding for the stations' broadcast activities.
There are 898 radio stations operating in Indonesia's 27 provinces.Private
companies own 700 of them, while municipal government have control over
146. RRI operates 52 stations.
