<<<<<<<<<< CONGRATULATIONS UPON 52TH INDEPENDENCE DAY IN INDONESIA!! >>>>>>>
August 17 is Independent Day in Indonesia. In Indonesia independent ceremony
is held here and there. I had experienced it at Parapat,Sumatera Utc;, in
Indonesia last year.
RRI Jakarta relays this ceremony every year, and I picked up some special
program in this event on August 16 and 17. Recently RRI Jakarta, Cimanggis
on 15150kHz was inactive,but since local evening on August 16,this frequency
was reactivated. I don't know whether this reactivation concerns the
Independence Day or not, but it was very happy for me to enjoy programs on
good conditions. (Other frequency RRI Jakarta operates is not so good in
Japan due to heavy interference and weak signal in daytime)
On August 16, suddenly the Song of Coconuts Islands(Rayuan Pulau Kelapa) was
started at 0231 and special program was still continued at 0415. Due to this
program, "Warta Berita" at 0300 and "Berita Orahraga" at 0400 was not heard.
At 1200, unusual long newscast entiteld "Warta Berita" was heard. The long
speech about the independence was heard in this program. The news was ended
at 1322 and usual news entitled "Warta Berira Ekonomi Keuangan dan Industri"
was not heard on this day.
On August 17, I confirmed that the special live program on the ceremony of
52th aniversary of independence in Indonesia at Jakarta. President Suharto
and Vice President Try Sutrisno attended to this. This program was already
started at 0315. National Anthem "Indonesia Raya" and other national music
was heard with chorus. Although RRI Jakarta on 15150kHz was ended at 0200
with Love Ambon, This channel was already signed on at 0315 again. The
special program was ended at 0359 and 15150kHz was finished.
Also I noticed special program which was already started at 1045.The program
was ended at 1058 and connected to the Song of Coconuts Islands. Usually
Aneka Berita" is started at 1100, but it was started at 1102. Untill then
SCI was repeated.
Next is my loggings heard from August 16 to 17. loggings of RRI Jakarta are
not involved in the next. And some frequencies operated by Indonesian
station like RRI Ambon on 4845kHz, RRI Pekanbaru on 5040kHz, and RRI Serui
on 7173kHz are not also involved in it due to my restriction of monitoring
time.

3355.4, RRI Jambi. Recent listings for RRI-Sumenep, I am hearing RRI-Jambi
with strong signals and ID just before the nx in Indo. at 2200
Another weak signal also on channel is an Indonesian which I
believe to be Sumenep. Jambi is the much stronger of the two at
this QTH. So others reporting Sumenep may be getting that one

RRI Jakarta on 15125kHz reactivated in the middle of August and 15150kHz
also reactivated on August 16. 15125kHz broadcasts Programa Nasional Satu
