EDITED BY JUICHI YAMADA
============================================================================
-------------------------------- DX LOGGINGS -----------------------------
2580.5 Unidentified. First realised it was an Indon when it relayed
Jakarta at barely perceptible level at 1200 Own prgr from 1229 -
mx relatively clear but speech astoundingly weak. Could be
RSPDT2 Timor Tengah Selatan reactivated & down from 2582.
(May 5, David Foster via OZDX No.124)
2695 RPDT2 Ende. 1459* after brief rendition of the old Hawaiian theme
(Apr 12, David Foster via OZDX No.124)
2899.3 RPDT2 Ngada, Bajawa. 1420 Lagu-lagu pop and kontak pendengar
1457 signed off after wavelength and morning s/on time. A shift
down from 2904. Can be a very good clear signal some days.
(Apr 12, David Foster via OZDX No.124)
2960 RPDT2 Manggarai, Ruteng. S/off between 1420 and 1430,
(Apr 12, David Foster via OZDX No.124)
3190v RRI-Bandung (presumed). Certainly an Indonesian stn,w/impossible
FM'ing signal and ending Jakarta relay at 1522 Could be Bandung
which has had txer problems in the past and ended up near here,
e.g. 3181. (May 2, David Foster via OZDX No.124)
3214.8 RRI-Manado. 1245 Local pops. 1259 RPK. 1300 Jakarta nx relay.
1313 Local pops. Fair to poor. (May 18, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
3223 RRI- Mataram. 1012 Islamic recitation, weak but improving Also
past 1532 on Apr 23 with bad modulation. Irregularly on air
in April/May. (Apr 16, David Foster via OZDX No.124)
3231.8 RRI-Bukittinggi. 1502 RPK (Other station had already connected
to Jakarta nx). 1503 Suddenly Jakarta nx relay. 1520 Local pops.
Poor. (May 17, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
3355.17 RRI-Sumenep(presumed). With phone in, the phone ringing was not
bad signal but the voices a bit low in audio to discern a great
deal. It seemed to be a request show, music but not really
western style was played. It was busy line. Positive Bahasa
Indonesian language and RPK at 1759 confirmed that it was an
Indonesian. I would love to get an ID on this one.
(May 5, David Norrie via DX Window No.64)
3385 RRI-Kupang. Has been inactive for some time now. Both 3260 &
4805 have been off much longer.
(David Foster via OZDX No.124)
3904.8 RRI-Banda Aceh. 2328 Faintly audible several days since May 4
with short announcement by pleasant-voiced female announcer in
Indonesian, then some kind of IS (not RPK) and woman back for
non-stop talk untill 2345 or so. After brief musical interlude,
woman takes the mike again. Begins to weaken around 2350 and is
essentially gone by 2355. Some days, the frequency reading is
down closer to 3904.7. Weak signal and ham QRM combine to make
copy exceedingly difficult at best.
(Bob Hills via DX Window No.64)
3959.7 RRI-Padang. After Jakarta nx at 2108 it continued w/relay of
Jakarta's Programa Nasional 1 until approx 2200 signed off.
RRI Palu is on 3959.8 - not bad presently around 1030.
(Apr 12, David Foster via OZDX No.124)
3976.0 RRI-Pontianak. 1502 All night wayang kulit which was not relayed
Jakarta nx on the hour. Still heard at 1900. Fair.

3976.0 RRI-Pontianak. 1625 Kroncong mx. Singed off at 1642. Usually
signs off at 1605. Good. (May 15, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
3996.2 RRI-Kendari. 1530 Local nx w/ments of Kendari Usually on 4000
at this hour. 1600 warta berita ASEAN from Jakarta and 1607 back
to own prgrs. I'd expected it would close before 1600. And
what of RRI Pontianak 3996 ?!
(May 2, David Foster via OZDX No.124)
4750 RRI-Ujung Pandang. Not hrd since reported in last OZDX (early
April). Still on 4753 of course. (David Foster via OZDX No.124)
4927 RRI-Jambi. 2120 Wayang performance. Don't often hear them running
AN. Swapped to 4925 at 2200 still with wayang rather than usual
usual Jakarta relay. (Apr 12, David Foster via OZDX No.124)
6071 RRI-Jayapura. Noted at *1157 swapping from 6070 (1156*) and

(May 17, Juichi Yamada, JAPAN)
6154.2 RRI-Biak. 0740 Old-style mx, on earlier than previously hrd 0800
signed on. ID 0759. Drifted up a little too.

I am surprised at David Foster's loggings. Stations he picked up is very
difficult to hear in Japan. His loggings are very useful for me, and will be
useful for DXers in the world. Of corse, Information of other DXer is useful
for me. I am looking forward to have report from you. With best wishes from
Juichi Yamada.
