Yokohama city has the second largest population. It is often said that the Tokyo and Yokohama metropolitan area has the largest metropolitan population in the world. |

| If you have an opportunity to ride a train from Tokyo to Yokohama, you will be surprised at the view because residences are packed together over a vast area. You may occasionally see vacant land that will be the grounds of a school or temple (maybe a cemetery). You will hardly ever see natural locations such as woods or fields. |
